Princess Daisy of Pless: The Happy Years. An exhibition at Castle Pless

Russell Harris, kurator i tłumacz, studiował orientalistykę w Balliol College na Uniwersytecie w Oksfordzie. Jest członkiem Królewskiego Towarzystwa Sztuk i Królewskiego Towarzystwa Azjatyckiego.

Russell jest współpracownikiem Narodowego Słownika Biograficznego oraz różnych międzynarodowych publikacji i autorem książki o indyjskich portretach królewskich z archiwum Lafayette'a w Victoria & Albert Museum. Przetłumaczył również szereg literackich i politycznych prac z francuskiegoi i arabskiego.

Współpracując z British Council, Narodową Galerią Portretu, Victoria & Albert Museum, Muzeum Historycznego Bukaresztu i Landesgalerie w Lintzu, Russell był kuratorem wystaw, między innymi, w Wielkiej Brytanii, Pakistanie, Indiach, Rumunii, Austrii i Polsce.

Russell jest współautorem, z Heleną Alexander - dyrektorką Muzeum Wachlarzy w Londynie, albumu o wachlarzach widocznych na zdjęciach Lafayette'a, i aktualnie pracuje nad zamówioną książką na temat dorobku studia Lafayette'a.
